Its name originates from its ability to "collect" when paddled, with its design specifically catering to the mid-range of surf best. The Bing Collector originally debuted as a quad design, however, its design was further enhanced following feedback from riders, transforming it into a surfboard that appeals to riders who prefer tail riding and value a wider nose for enhanced paddling ability.
