Specifications

Min Length 9'6"
Introducing the D-Log, a meticulously crafted longboard from Morris Surfboards NZ, resulting from a celebrated collaboration with Daniel Proctor, the 2021 National Longboard Champion. Designed to excel in a wide array of conditions, this modern log is specifically tailored for taller surfers weighing 90kg or more, ensuring both performance and comfort. With a generous outline measuring 9’6” in length, 23 ½” at its widest point, and a thickness of 3”, the D-Log accommodates a variety of riding styles, making it an excellent choice for surfers seeking versatility on the waves.

This surfboard boasts a thoughtfully designed outline that merges elements from the Bar Fly and Gem models. The unique hip situated 24” from the tail transitions into a soft diamond tail, enhancing maneuverability and responsiveness. The gentle rocker curve features a flat section leading into a slightly elevated nose that maintains optimal flow, while the midsection transitions into a defined flip towards the tail, facilitating agile turns and drive. The bottom contours include a beveled forward rail meeting a deep teardrop nose concave designed to elevate the board’s performance during noserides. The tail area is sculpted for responsiveness, enhancing hold and sensitivity while executing intricate maneuvers.

To further enhance performance, the D-Log features 50/50 rails, slightly pinched for improved edge control, and a classic fin setup with a single 10” box positioned 4 ½” from the tail, optimizing stability and glide. The craftsmanship continues with a resilient glassing configuration, including a 7.5oz bottom and 6oz layer on the deck augmented with knee and fin patches, giving the board durability without excessive weight. The D-Log stands as a testament to innovation in longboard design, inviting surfers to experience a finely tuned balance of style and performance in various wave conditions.
