THE RAP

The Roberts Surfboards "THE RAP" is a finely-tuned high-performance surfboard meticulously developed in collaboration with accomplished surfer Nolan Rapoza. Over a five-year period, this board evolved into Rapoza's primary choice during the 2016 contest season, where it played a pivotal role in his triumph as the WSL’s 2016 North America Men’s Jr Regional Champion. "THE RAP" is engineered to excel in various wave conditions, demonstrating its versatility across different surf locales from Barbados to the coastlines of Mexico and the United States. A standout feature of "THE RAP" is its single concave bottom contour, which initiates just below the nose rocker and runs seamlessly through to the tail, facilitating astonishing speed. Complemented by a moderate continuous rocker, the board offers the capability to carve tight turns in the pocket without sacrificing velocity. The flat deck and medium full rails contribute to its performance by enhancing speed retention through flat spots while enabling smooth, arcing cutbacks. The tri-fin configuration is standard, and the option for a 5-fin setup allows for customization to suit personal riding styles—either as a thruster or quad.
